"Papa Doc", this painting is of a man I saw while exhibiting for the Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas.  His character was so beautiful and his face told a story of life trials and tribulations many years in a rural town.  I decided to call him papa doc of the many papa docs I have known through the years quite a character.
